I had completely forgotten about that domain that must have been at least six years ago now? Thatâ€™s when I was hand coding entries in Dreamweaver and then ftpâ€™ing them. Ah good old nested tables, how I used to love thee.

Couldnâ€™t you just point your domain to your wordpress.com account? So it looked like it was a hosted solution.

Well, you did it when you left Urban Thinking behind, and you moved on and upwards. My planet-maxx.com has been dormant for far too long, and I want to strip that back and redo it. So I say, a change is as good as a rest, and if it’s what floats your boat, go ahead and have a spring clean….

That’s what got me thinking, I had already seen that you had done that. It must feel good, I also read an article on the life expectancy of a blog post and you have to ask yourself just how many people are going to read what i wrote two years ago let alone last week!

Nice to see you make your comeback though, really good.

I just did exactly that.

The page that is back up is just a simple “none-design” while I decide on how I want it all to look. I also binned the homegrown blog system that used to run it so I can really think about how I’d like to design a new one, without plugging bits of the old one back together.

I’m happy to have deleted everything and in all honesty it’ll force the best out of me, because I won’t accept mashing bits of old and new together.

Take it from me, having a fresh start feels pretty good.
