Two Weeks Later

So a couple of weeks into Second Life and I finally have the Avatar cracked, I think you will agree it’s a huge improvement over my (As Elle put it) Gareth Gates look.

When I signed up for an account I don’t think I was 100% prepared for some of the things that go on inside this strange little 3D world, all I know is I highly recommend it, and that I really would not like the bandwidth costs to run such a service.

I’ve been looking at purchasing land and building. My vision is to build a waterfront bar with accommodation so that I can stream some MP3 mixes into the world, a little like Podcasting but with instant feedback. It’s just a thought right now and certainly would be a steep learning curve in order to get something looking half decent.
