New Media

I’m not sure what it is recently, websites have been closing and film releases have been poor. Books have been scarce, recipes have been short. New music has been limited and fresh finds unheard of.

Help, recommend something to me – preferably a website right now, my bookmarks are looking tatty, unloved and far too refined. I want to read something new, look at some great design and even enjoy some photographs.

I think people are getting bored with keeping online journals, sites are closing left right and centre so it’s up to you to point me in the direction of new, interesting material.

I’m open to anything right now (especially if it involves eating chicken) so fire away, don’t be shy.

  1. Yeah see normally I would be discreet when inserting a few self-promotional bits into a comment but today, I’m going to do so straight off the bat but only because you asked. There’s this thing called gravitational pull and basically, it made me the most interesting material you’ll ever dig your nose into so come to my site immediately cause –insert bad dude from Stars Wars- commands you. So um, how was that? For a spammer. Got to keep my skills up as an alternative to welfare.

  2. Hi ya,

Have a look at the graphics on Amontobin.com , though I think that the sound and the look on the supermodified link is far better

Here you go this should save you some time. Turn the volume up and away you go.

Just had a look on the Amon Tobin page, its prity rubbish at the moment, though they are plans afoot to upgrade it.

  3. Agh, I don’t know how often you read your comments. But I have a website question. Get on MSN whenever you can. Hopefully you read this soon.

  4. Maybe it’s because everyone and their mother has a website now that people are closing left and right. Or they’re like me and they’re forgetting their sites all together to see what life has to offer.

I blame the fact the “blog” is now a mainstream word :)

  5. Get out your rickety old digital camera or your video phone and get over to Vimeo. It’s not video blogging but random voyeurism.

Get posting your movie clips of hilarious hilarity. Pretty good fun actually.

  6. The link above should be: Vimeo
