Google Earth
Google Earth seems to have had something of an update. I have spent days on this looking at places in America I have been to, France and London. It also gives fantastic overviews of places like the Sydney opera house and the Empire state building.
It features TomTom like navigational features and will fly you between two destinations whilst highlighting local points of interests such as restaurants, hotels, schools and shopping centres.
I even managed to fly over the amazing Joe’s Crab Shack in California. So in the spirit of all things geeky, here is an Arial view of where I live. It must be quite an old image as I no longer own a red car and there is now a 22ft extension on the back.
