About
I live and work in the small market town of Lancaster here in the UK with my wife Beccy and five year old cat Louis. Home is in the countryside some six miles outside the town centre, I can officially make it to work in less than twelve minutes.

When you die, if you go somewhere where they ask you a bunch of questions about your life and what you learned and all, I think a good way to get out of it is just to say, ‘No speaka English.’
Since the end of 2002 I have worked at a Further Education College which meets the needs of young adults with learning difficulties.
My Whearbouts
My role at the college is hybrid; I am heavily involved with Web Development both internal and external to the college. I also work closely with the students and staff supporting them with adapted technology and specialist access requirements. You will often see me trying to multi task whilst eating a chicken sandwich.
Several of my colleagues read this site and I am sure it has turned up in the server logs on the odd occasion. You will notice that I tend not to write about work for that reason.
Vodka For What?
This site is a collection of thoughts on music, technology, media, and popular culture. I chose the domain name after many messy nights of DJ’ing and finding myself still going strong the day after. Quite literally vodka for breakfast.
The site is powered by the fantastic Wordpress with a few great plugins to take care of the fancy stuff. Bandwidth and hosting is taken care of by those lovely people at Media Temple, no really - they are great!
